Bottle guard no bread garlic sticks with creamy cucumber dip & pesto


To think about meals with less carbs is becoming interesting day by day. Little did I know that this will allow me to explore my food creative aspects !!


Since I'm eating high fat low carb food so I need to make my meals accordingly.
I was thinking about garlic bread sticks and that got me creative.


Bottle guard no bread garlic sticks with creamy cucumber dip and pesto dip is a true delight and a paradise ❤️ 


Macros :


Protein- 32 gms
Carbs- 18.4 gms
Fibre - 3.1 gms
Fat- 42 gms


Preparation Time : 15 Minutes
Cooking Time : 30 Minutes
Serves : 2-3

Ingredients :
1 bottle guard (lauki or doodhi)
2 Amul cheese cube
1 Egg at Room temperature
1/4 cup of Minced Garlic
1 tbsp black pepper
1 tsp Red Chilly Flakes
1 tsp Dried oregano
4-5 leaves Fresh basil
100 grams cream
1/2 grated cucumber
1/2 cup Yogurt
1 tsp salt 

Method :

For base, Peel and grind the bottle guard using your Food processor.

Pour the mix in a Towel, wrap it up and twist the sides to remove the excess water. 

Add eggs, 1 cheese cube grated, pepper, chilli flakes, oregano into the bowl of dried cauliflower mix. Mix well and keep it aside.

Line the baking tray with parchment or butter paper and carefully lay the mix on the paper till it forms an even base of either square or circle.

Bake this at 200'C for 30 minutes at convention /microwave mode. 

Check , it should be golden brown.


Dip:

In a Bowl Whip Cream and 1 grated cheese cube. 
Add salt, basil leaves, oregano, black pepper, yogurt and whip it till smooth.
Refrigerate it for 15 minutes.
Serve it chill with your warm garlic sticks .
